We have been working hard to figure out a way that allows us to maintain our support system for vulnerable, low-income and disadvantaged individuals, whilst minimising the risks of catching or spreading the COVID-19 pandemic. Limiting face-to-face contact to the minimum between our staff, volunteers and beneficiaries will allow us to make sure no one will be left alone at these times and also helps us protect those who are willing to go the extra mile for people facing difficulties. Please read carefully the service amendments below and don’t hesitate to get in touch with us via phone, email or social media if you are unsure of anything. The service amendments are live as of today until further notice.

In the meanwhile, we are asking you to be patient when waiting for any of our services, we will do our best to help everyone we can, as soon as we can!

How can you help?

If you are in the position to, please contribute to our food bank. We normally provide emergency food to an average of 100 people every day and we anticipate this number to increase as an effect of the pandemic-related work close-downs.

Highly useful items:

  • Tinned meals (macaroni, mince etc)
  • Tinned soup
  • Rice & Pasta
  • Pasta sauce/ cooking sauce
  • Tinned fruit & veg

We are also looking for toiletries/cleaning/household products.

We are aware of the limited stocks available at shops and the fact that many of our generous supporters are having to self-isolate as well. If you cannot donate food, we also appreciate financial contributions. If you wish to donate, please follow the link below or do it by a cheque made payable to CFINE Ltd, or BACS payment: Account No: 06359168 Sort code: 80-22-60

You can also donate your time to help us pick up the fight with poverty. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us in various roles, for example:

  • Deliveries
  • Warehouse roles
  • Making up emergency parcels for food bank beneficiaries
  • Admin tasks

… and so on!

Last but not least, we would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported us or sent us their good wishes recently. These are particularly difficult times for us, everyone’s help is highly appreciated. A very special thank you to The House of Botanicals for making the generous offer of donating 25% of the income that they make through their website sales to CFINE for the rest of the year! We would also like to say thank you to Still River for the hand sanitisers that they donated. Keep up the good work, we could not do this without you!
