What is a Crisis Grant? A crisis grant payment to help meet immediate needs to cover urgent living costs such as - (Gas, Electricity, Food). Eligibility criteria Applicants must be aged 16 or over and have a low income or do not have access to your money. As a guide, if you're on one of the benefits below, or your income is about the same as someone who is, it's more likely you'll be able to get a Crisis Grant: Income Support Pension Credit Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA) - Income based Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) - Income based Universal Credit How can you apply for Crisis Grants?
