We offer a range of options for your staff team to get involved as part of a team building away-day. The activities can be suited to your needs and are fun and informative, and can prove eye-opening for participants.

What's On Offer?

The day can be arranged around a number of themes including food waste and food poverty/insecurity.

In the past we have done:

Ready-steady-cook style competitive games using surplus or 'waste' food
Creative cooking with an emergency food parcel
Scenario based challenges like budget planning/cooking on a very low income.

Often people living in poverty do not know where to access emergency food, food skills training, or somewhere to simply have a blether! By mapping these activities and services we hope to support low-income or vulnerable individuals and families gain access to food and training.

This is map identifies local food producers for the Aberdeen City and Shire. Granite City Good Food are using this map to engage local food businesses to reduce food miles and support our local economy by sourcing as close to the city as possible.
