Benefits and budgeting Volunteering to improve your employability skills Credit Union membership Low cost loans & white goods services Skills development training through volunteering Access to affordable fruit and vegetables Free & Confidential Benefits, Budgeting and Debt Advice CFINE provides guidance and support through in-house Financial Capability Officers. We work in partnership with Grampian Housing Association, North East Scotland Credit Union and many others: Checking entitlement to benefits and applying for benefits Dealing with any issues around benefits such as delays/sanctions Managing money on a budget Dealing with debts Referrals for Housing (for issues around council housing, tenancy & repairs, and homelessness), employability and energy advice Referrals Employability We refer beneficiaries to Pathways, which offers one-to-one support to help people find the job they want. Their Keyworkers help people in all aspects of the job search: building confidence, develop a plan to reach their job goal, develop or update the CV, complete application forms, prepare for interviews, access funds to remove barriers to work e.g. training or equipment. Pathways run a drop-in session at our Aberdeen office every Thursday 10am - 12pm. Energy/Heating Advice We refer beneficiaries to Scarf, which deliver services focused on: fuel poverty, energy efficiency, sustainable living, carbon reduction How Do I Access The FCO Service?
