Food banks in themselves are not helpful. They create dependence, erode dignity and change nothing, however when people have no way of accessing food, they are essential.

With this in mind, we offer a number of further services aimed at addressing the complex underlying issues which can lead to food poverty/insecurity.

Donations To The Food Bank

The level of demand for emergency food has increased significantly in recent years. For this reason, we are always in need of food donations to keep our stocks up. If you would like to donate to the food bank, you can drop in and see us, or arrange a food drive at your workplace/school/church etc.

We would like to thank everyone who has donated in recent months; the generosity shown has been inspirational!
