Having access to food is a basic human necessity. We all agree on that. Unfortunately, as one of the most developed countries in the world thousands of people in the UK – including kids are going without. Food poverty existed before Covid19 and will exist after the pandemic. Food poverty exists in the country like it does in the city. Through no fault of their own even more families are now reliant on support from CFINE.
On Saturday 28th August 2021 I am taking on the Loch Ness Beast Race – a 10 KM event with 27 obstacles on the banks of (and also in!) Loch Ness. I hope to raise vital funds for CFINE to help them continue to support my community and the communities of the Highlands. Delivering essential food that the most vulnerable and disadvantaged families need. Please donate what you can and let’s help beat food poverty!
