If you are looking for great quality fruit and veg sold loose, a cuppa and a blether, visit our Community Food Outlets!
Community Food Outlets (CFOs) are small pop-up shops selling fresh fruit, vegetables, and healthy snacks. They are run by a small army of dedicated volunteers at different locations around the Northeast, including community centres, sheltered housing, hospitals, and family centres.
CFOs are very popular in the community as they are so much more than just a fruit stall. Once you have picked your produce, you are welcome to stay for a chat with the customers and volunteers, which is an invaluable addition to the healthy food that our CFOs sell.
What can you buy:
- Pulses and dried goods
- Healthy snacks (including our famous yoghurt-coated raisins!
