How we work Social Enterprise, Cooperative Ethos CFINE is a social enterprise committed to social, environmental and economic development and works to cooperative, or ‘Community Development’, principles which underpin and permeate the organisation and activities. CFINE’s ethos summarised: Equalities; Cooperation, Collaboration and Partnership; Mutuality and Reciprocity; Recognising that everyone has something to offer; and Enterprise Social CFINE’s raison d’etre is to provide a range of support and services, taking a ‘person-centred approach’, for and with our beneficiaries to build confidence, promote learning, skill acquisition and social networks. Enterprise As a social enterprise, CFINE’s enterprise activities all have the main purpose of generating income to support our charitable services and support. CFINE’s enterprise trading involves: Wholesale and retail fruit, vegetables and healthy snacks sold to the general public and businesses in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Tuk In, our tuk tuk deployed as a mobile café selling lovely home made soups, nice bread and fruit pots; also available for events. Cook at the ‘Nook, our training kitchen, 8 work stations available for rent or we can run corporate team-building sessions. Rental income from our tenants who are all from the voluntary sector.
