How to access help during lockdown CFINE continues to provide support during lockdown In line with government guidance, the following information outlines current support services available to you. Emergency Food Parcel Call & Collect Following government guidelines, we aim to re-establish our emergency food bank via a call & collect service. The delivery system was introduced as a temporary measure when food banks could not remain open. If you are running low on food and essential items due to financial constraints, please contact us on 01224 596156/ 0800 0304 713 (free number). During your phone call, you can tell us more about the items that you need and book a slot to pick up the prepared parcel from our premises at 2-4 Poynernook Road, AB11 5RW. Your food parcel will be available at our Call & Collect point. When you are visiting to collect your food parcel, please arrive on time and wear a face mask! Our phone lines are open for slot bookings Monday to Friday between 8 am-4 pm. What’s in an emergency parcel? Ambient goods and non-chilled items, such as pasta, pasta sauces, tins, rice; Sanitary products (on request); Toiletries (on request). *Support workers, voluntary groups and other charities are also welcomed to get in touch with us to request food for their beneficiaries. The default setting for receiving emergency food parcels will be at our premises. We will, however, keep some deliveries available for those who are unable to collect emergency food parcels in person. Deliveries will be offered only if essential! Aberdeen City Council Emergency Helpline Aberdeen City Council has launched a free emergency telephone helpline to prioritise support to the most vulnerable and at-risk individuals and families during the coronavirus outbreak. The free telephone number 0800 0304 713 will be staffed from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.
