The number of individuals coming through this service has increased dramatically and a number of people have commented that “they find it much less daunting coming here to get benefit advice”.

The request this year is for a Financial Education, Capability and Referral post which would oversee both the FCO’s and our Cash In Your Pocket (CIYP) referral service; CIYP links people with the agencies and support they need to resolve their issue or, in many cases, issues – increasingly people present with one issue but, in discussion, it becomes clear there are a number of matters requiring to be addressed”.
