Emergency Food

If you are running low on food and essential items due to financial constraints, please contact us on 01224 596156. During your phone call, you can tell us more about the items that you need and book a slot to pick up the prepared parcel from our premises at 2-4 Poynernook Road, AB11 5RW. Your food parcel will be available at the Call & Collect point.

When you are visiting to collect your food parcel, please arrive on time, bring a strong bag and wear a face mask!

Our phone lines are open for slot bookings Monday to Friday between 9 am-4 pm.

What’s in an emergency parcel?

  • Ambient goods and non-chilled items, such as pasta, pasta sauces, tins, rice;
  • Sanitary products (on request);
  • Toiletries (on request).

* Support workers, voluntary groups and other charities are also welcomed to get in touch with us to request food for their beneficiaries.

Following government guidelines, we have re-established our emergency food bank into a call & collect service. The delivery system was introduced in 2020 as a temporary COVID-19 measure when food banks could not remain open. The default for receiving emergency food parcels will be at our premises. We will, however, keep some deliveries available for those who are unable to collect emergency food parcels in person. Deliveries will be offered only if essential!
