Reusable products
Did you know that it has been estimated that the average menstruating woman will dispose of 11,000 sanitary products in her lifetime, with most of them ending up in landfill or flushed down the toilet. With roughly every 100m of beach, you will typically find four pads, panty-liners, and backing strips, with at least one tampon and applicator.
To help tackle this waste by working with Aberdeen City Council, FareShare, Nescol and The Scottish Government; CFINE have distributed over 2000 reusable products over the last year, meaning that with your help we have potentially saved 2, 200,000 one time use period products from ending up in our seas and our landfills. So, Thank You!

Together we can reduce our impact on the environment by making a shift towards reusable menstruation products. Washable towels and menstruation cups are available to you at different locations, and you can also access support, information and advice on how to use reusable products safely.
