Connecting with Communities Electrical Appliance Initiative

I do want to say a massive thank you to all that Stephen and the team do for us at Edzell Woods. I know that many people and myself rely on the van heavily every week. I dread the day it stops. I collect for 2 of my neighbours and I know that they both appreciate it too

Can I take this opportunity to say how good you are? I rely on your food, both fresh and free and my pension would not go so far without you. You are all very much appreciated, especially those who come with van, they always have smiles and patience for us

The CFINE van is excellent and I look forward to it every fortnight now! The staff are friendly and pleasant on each and every visit occasion. I think CFINE do an excellent job and are a very much needed service for the local people who are struggling to afford food at the local shop. Where I live there is at present only the one small convenience store within a 5 minute walk of my house. It is very expensive even if the items have been reduced! CFINE also gave me a hand blender which I intend to use to make desserts and smoothies etc. I do hope it can continue to receive the funding it needs and it so deserves for creating a much needed service

The service you offer is amazing and helps me to cope in these financial hard times. I must also thank you for the electric pan which will help tremendously with my energy bills

This is an amazing service. We are pensioners who are on border line for help so the food we get from you helps our budget go that bit further. Thanks also for the lovely slow cooker

We really appreciate the service and believe in recycling food as much as possible to eliminate waste. We are grateful to everyone involved in the service, giving their time to help others that may be struggling in these difficult times

The service is vital to our family and we would be lost without it. The staff that run it take the time to listen if we're struggling and really go out there way to help. The electric appliances were of great help also as we couldn't afford to buy one and its helped to keep our electric bill down. This service to our family deserves a 10 out of 10 its amazing.

This service has been a godsend for me and I am sure a lot of people on the estate. Having no shops on the estate and fuel prices high you help so much. Also the electric appliance service was fantastic so thank you so much for that
