From funding CFINE received through the Aberdeenshire Council Tackling Poverty & Inequailities Winter Challenge Fund, 135 households have benefitted from receiving an electric appliance to help reduce their energy bills. These 135 households consist of 229 adults and 56 children. Six locations were specifically targeted – Banff, Macduff, Turriff, St Combs, Inverallochy/Cairnbulg and Edzell Woods.
Alongside the appliance, customers also received a cook book, spice packs and a cooking spray to get them started. Customers who requested appliances were able to select from an electric frying pan, a slow cooker, an air fryer, or a hand blender depending on which they felt would be most beneficial to their household.
